Im so cunfused about this guy, can someone please help?

Okay so i dated this guy a while back and we broke up. We still talk and today we are texting and i ask what hes doing. And he says just finished riding my horses and i was like i wanna ride a horse and he said come ride with me and of corse i said ohkay. Well the night before we went to this dance and he told me i looked hella fine and im getting mixed singnals. Later im on facebook and it says hes in a relationship and i get all sad. To make a long story short i really like him and he knows so what should i do ? And i dont think hes really in a relationship because he told me he just broke up with a girl today. I really like him and want to be with him so what do i do ?
