Do you have to pump if you breastfeed and want to go back to work?

I was just thinking about breast pumping and it seems weird and gross like you're a freaking cow on a farm. Plus it looks like it would make your breasts hella saggy. I don't have kids yet and probably won't have any but if I get knocked up it would be nice to know.
